Jonathan Unda, known as Papi J, is a Colombian professional dance artist, choreographer, entrepreneur and international instructor with more than 15 years of experience in dance, teaching and community development.

His journey began in Colombia, where he trained professionally in Salsa, competed at national level and performed at the World Salsa Festival in Cali. He later founded his own dance organization, developing dancers, performance teams and community programs while working with private and public-sector organizations.

Based in the UAE since 2019, Jonathan has become an established figure in Abu Dhabi’s Latin dance community, bringing together people from different nationalities through Salsa, Bachata, events and social experiences.

As Founder and Head Coach of Salsa Bachata Abu Dhabi, his philosophy goes beyond teaching steps: build confidence, develop strong dancers and create a community where people connect through dance.
